Take home a piece of history!

The New Orleans Jazz Festival had its humble beginnings in 1949 and by 1950, the New Orleans Jazz Festival had gained a measurable degree of success.

Unfortunately much of that historic memorabilia had been lost in a closet.

But now some of it is out!!!

A little Jazz Museum in the Treme neighborhood in New Orleans has some of that old memorabilia which was found in the former home of Musicians Local 496 (The Negro Musicians Union).

Those old throwaway Jazz Fest Posters are being recreated based on actual information acquired by Al Jackson Curator of Treme's Petit Jazz Museum.

The Jazz Festival Poster Series will feature (6) of the 19 years of Jazz Festival History, (not to be confused with The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage.)

Today, we offering to the "World of Jazz" a canvas reproduction of the 1955 and 1968 Jazz Festivals.
